Dispute Process
Disputes exist to protect both buyers and sellers when something goes wrong with a transaction. Here's how it works.
1. File a dispute
From your escrow transaction page, click "Raise Dispute" and select a reason. Provide as much detail as possible about the issue.
2. Submit evidence
Both buyer and seller can upload photos, screenshots, or documents to support their case. The more evidence you provide, the faster we can resolve it.
3. Team review
Our dispute resolution team reviews all evidence from both parties. We aim for fair outcomes based on the facts provided.
4. Resolution
We'll notify both parties of the outcome. Funds may be released to the seller, refunded to the buyer, or split — depending on the situation.
Valid reasons to dispute
- Item not delivered within the expected timeframe
- Item arrived damaged or defective
- Item significantly different from the listing description
- Wrong item received
- Seller became unresponsive after payment
Not valid for dispute
- Changed your mind about the purchase (buyer's remorse)
- Found a cheaper price elsewhere
- Disagreement unrelated to the transaction
Timeline
Most disputes are resolved within 48 hours. Complex cases involving delivery verification may take up to 7 days. You'll receive notifications at every stage.
